Pratap Niwas belongs to the Royal family that owns the Jhalamand area. They have a 400 year-old Ancestral Haveli a simple stone’s throw away from Pratap Niwas. Their family has its roots in the Royal family of Udaipur as well. The logo of the Hotel depicts a lion and a horse sandwiching the Haveli. The Lion represent their family name- Singh, while the Horse represents the Royalty of Rajasthan.
An Amritara Resort is a boutique, heritage property located in Jhālāmand. The architecture is an amalgamation of Mughal and Mewar style, as seen in the stone carving, cupolas and jharokas or extended balconies.
