Bird Watching Tour - Banjar | Narkanda | New Delhi | Sangla | Sarahan | Tirthan Valley - 11 Nights / 12 Days
Day 1 Arrival in New Delhi before or after midnight. Spend overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Drive down to Okhla Barrage in the morning for some bird watching. In the afternoon set up for sightseeing tour of the Capital city of India, visiting India Gate, Qutab Minar & Humayun's tomb and driving past the President's House. Enjoy your stay at the hotel at night. Rejoice your stay in fully serviced tents in the night.
Day 3 In the morning board a train to Chandigarh from Delhi. Drive to Narkanda stopping en route for birding. Spend night at the hotel that comes equipped with all the modern amenities.
Day 4 Drive leisurely to Sangla exploring through the breathtaking gorges of the Greater Himalayas. Rejoice an evening bird walk at Sangla. Overnight stay in tented camps.
Day 5 Drive down towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village surrounded by green fields and high mountain peaks. Stopping on the way for birding en route. In the evening return to Sangla. Spend overnight in tents.
Day 6 Enjoy the bird walks around fort Kamru and Sangla. Spend night in fully serviced tents.
Day 7 Proceed to Sarahan a beautiful village dominated by Srikhand Mahadev peak and surrounded by apple orchards. The Srikhand Mahadev peak closely resembles to the shape of Shivlinga and Bhimakali temple is a major attraction to visit. Rest and relax for the day bird watching. Enjoy visits to the Phesant Breeding Centre for more recreation. Spend overnight at the hotel resting.
Day 8 Depart to next bird watching destination Goshaini via Jalori pass & Shoja. Shoja, a small village with a large number of alpine trees and thick forest makes an untouched habitat . On arrival over here enjoy delicious lunch and later on stroll down to the forest logging road into the pristine Pheasant countryside. The major attractions to be captured includes Kaleej, Monal, and Koklas. In the evening leave for Goshaini. Spend overnight in a tourist lodge at Tirthan valley.
Day 9 Start your morning taking a bird walk towards the Great Himalayan National Park. In the afternoon walk downstream along river Tirthan. Enjoy overnight stay in a tourist lodges at Tirthan.
Day 10 Take a visit to Jibhi and Bahu for bird watching. Spend overnight in a tourist lodge at Tirthan.
Day 11 In the morning drive to Bhunter From Tirthan, board a flight to Delhi. After arriving Delhi get transferred to the hotel equipped with all modern amenities.
Day 12 Spend morning bird watching at the Delhi Zoo. Relax in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport for journey ahead.
